EstateCare by Harrisons

Managed estate administration from start to final distribution.

EstateCare brings together the specialist services required to administer an estate into one coordinated solution, giving executors a single point of contact and practical support throughout the process.

No upfront cost options. One coordinated service. Support at every stage.

What is EstateCare?

EstateCare is a fully managed estate administration service designed for executors who want professional support without having to coordinate multiple providers themselves.

Instead of separately instructing genealogy researchers, asset search providers, property specialists, estate agents and administration support, EstateCare brings these services together under one structured process.

We help manage the practical, administrative and logistical work involved in progressing an estate from initial review through to final distribution.

Who is EstateCare for?

EstateCare is designed for executors, family members and personal representatives who need support dealing with an estate.

It may be suitable where:

  • You are responsible for administering an estate and are unsure where to begin
  • The estate includes property that needs to be secured, maintained or sold
  • Assets are unknown or need to be identified
  • Beneficiaries need to be confirmed or traced
  • You want one team to coordinate the process from start to finish
  • You do not want to manage multiple providers yourself

Property Sale Support

Where the estate includes property, we can coordinate an appropriate sale strategy.

For many properties, this may include a 0% seller fee option.

For higher-value or specialist properties, we may recommend alternative sale strategies, including premium or third-party agents, where this is considered more appropriate for the estate.

Estate Costs & Disbursements

Our EstateCare fee covers the management, coordination and progression of the estate administration process, providing executors with a single structured service and dedicated point of contact throughout the matter.

As every estate is different, certain third-party costs and disbursements required to progress the administration remain payable by the estate itself.

These are costs incurred directly in relation to the estate and may include:

  • Property clearance, maintenance and insurance
  • Government fees and statutory notices
  • Probate court fees and application costs
  • Legal fees, where required
  • Specialist searches or asset tracing
  • Property or asset valuations
  • Contractor or specialist service costs
  • Storage, removals or property security costs
  • Tax or accounting support, where applicable

Property Sale Included

Where suitable, EstateCare pricing may include the coordination and sale of residential estate property through Harrisons Estate Agent Solutions using our 0% seller fee model, helping reduce unnecessary costs to the estate.

This includes support with:

  • Property preparation and coordination
  • Marketing and accompanied viewings
  • Buyer liaison and sale progression
  • Coordination with beneficiaries and third parties

*The 0% seller fee model is suitable for many standard residential estate properties. However, in some circumstances this may not be appropriate, including higher-value, specialist, commercial, development or premium market properties. Where an alternative sale strategy or external agent is recommended, any applicable fees or third-party costs will always be discussed and agreed in advance with the executor or estate.

We coordinate all required services with a focus on efficiency, transparency and cost control, ensuring executors have clarity throughout the administration process.

Pricing Options

Executor - Led Estates

Where there is an executor and the approximate estate value is known, we use fixed tiered pricing based on the estimated value of the estate.

  • Estates up to £200,000 — £3,495
  • £200,001 to £500,000 — £4,995
  • £500,001 to £1,000,000 — £6,995
  • £1,000,000+ — from £8,995

(confirmed following review)

These fees apply to standard UK estates. Where additional complexity exists, this will be discussed and agreed in advance.

Prices include sale of property where applicable*

No Executor / Unknown estate cases

.

Where there is no administrator, assets are unknown, or the estate requires investigation before it can be progressed, EstateCare may be offered on a risk-based basis.

This starts from a minimum fee of:

£750 plus 5% of the estate recovered or administered, reflecting the additional uncertainty, investigation and risk involved.
