  • Harrisons Private Client Solutions Ltd provides probate, Court of Protection, and private client support services, including genealogical research and related solutions.
  • Harrisons Property Solutions Ltd provides property-related services, including property research, management support, and associated consultancy.

Each company operates as a separate legal entity but may collaborate where appropriate to deliver integrated solutions.

2.1 Services are provided in accordance with written instructions, engagement letters, proposals, or agreed scopes of work.
2.2 Any timelines, estimates, or outcomes provided are indicative only and not guaranteed.
2.3 We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services where instructions are unclear, unlawful, or conflict with our professional standards.


3. No Legal or Financial Advice

3.1 Harrisons does not provide legal, tax, or regulated financial advice unless expressly stated in writing.
3.2 Any information provided is for general guidance only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional legal or financial advice.
3.3 Clients remain responsible for obtaining independent advice where required.


4. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and timely information
  • Cooperate reasonably with requests necessary to deliver services
  • Confirm instructions in writing where required
  • Ensure you have appropriate authority to instruct us

We are not responsible for delays or outcomes caused by incomplete or inaccurate information.


5. Fees and Payment

5.1 Fees will be agreed in advance where possible and confirmed in writing.
5.2 Invoices are payable within the stated payment terms.
5.3 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services for non-payment.
5.4 Any third-party costs, disbursements, or expenses may be charged separately where applicable.


6. Confidentiality

6.1 We treat all client information as confidential and will not disclose it except:

  • Where required by law or court order
  • With client consent
  • To trusted third parties engaged in delivering the agreed services

6.2 Confidentiality obligations survive termination of services.


7. Data Protection

8. Intellectual Property

9.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Harrisons shall not be liable for:

9.3 Our total liability shall be limited to the fees paid for the relevant services, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.


10. Third-Party Services

11.1 Either party may terminate services by giving reasonable written notice.
11.2 We may terminate immediately if:

  • There is a breach of these Terms
  • Fees remain unpaid
  • Continuing would be unlawful or unethical

Outstanding fees remain payable upon termination.


12. Complaints

We aim to provide a high standard of service. Any complaints should be raised in writing and will be handled promptly and fairly.


13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
